Strength and Stability Clinic for Runners

Presented by Athletes Lounge

The strength and stability for runners will be a clinic that incorporates explanations of the training methods to be used to develop core strength, pelvic stability, general strength and responsiveness specifically for runners and multi-sport athletes.

A short seminar on how to incorporate the training methods taught in this class will precede a hands on clinic where attendees will receive instruction on the training methods in small groups from the competitive runners from Run Portland. This event is presented by the Athletes Lounge and will offer giveaways and prizes from Athletes Lounge.

What:  Hands on clinic to learn strength and stability routines specifically for runners

Who:  Ideal for beginners to competitive athletes healthy enough to participate in strength and stability drills

When:  Sunday February 7th from 8-10am

Where:  Portland Athletic Center for Excellence (P.A.C.E.) in the gym (www.portlandpace.com for directions)
